SOC 2 Type II
The primary security credential that university procurement teams, school districts, and institutional EdTech buyers screen for. Enterprise education clients require SOC 2 as a baseline vendor qualification — and Type II is the sustained standard that enterprise procurement programs accept. Without it, EdTech vendors are excluded from institutional procurement programs regardless of product quality.

ISO 27001

HIPAA Assessments

EdTech platforms processing protected health information on behalf of a covered institution become Business Associates — directly liable since HITECH 2013. HIPAA is not optional once the trigger is met; it applies immediately and with no grace period.
